Amazing innovation is business as usual at UCR.

As a major economic catalyst for one of the fastest growing regions in the country, UCR partners with fellow research enterprises, businesses, international firms, and local communities to drive our region’s progress and economic development.

UCR has a combined economic impact on the state of nearly $1 billion, nearly a six-fold return on the state's investment in the university. It annually attracts more than $400 million in revenue from outside Inland Southern California. Each year the campus provides highly-skilled workers, creates new products and services, attracts high-tech industries, and contributes hundreds of volunteer and internship hours to the region.  UCR provides the following:

• Home to the eLab 2.0, a virtual research lab designed to study online consumer behavior, the Anderson Graduate School of Management was named an outstanding business school last year by the Princeton Review. UCR also boasts the largest undergraduate business program in the UC System.

• The UCR Palm Desert Graduate Center provides graduate education through its MBA and MFA degrees, serves as a base for several UCR research efforts, and is host to international academic conferences, continuing education programs and public service programs. In addition, the center also extends the reach of UCR by providing outreach efforts in local schools to promote and improve college-going rates in the Coachella Valley.

• UCR Extension delivers international and executive-level education programs, along with a wide range of industry-specific certificate programs, to more than 30,000 students each year.
