Our entrepreneurial campus brings together investors, inventors and owners of high-tech companies dedicated to the development and commercialization of new military, agricultural and medical technologies. The collective genius of UCR scientists also results in mind-boggling advances in computing systems, wireless technology and embedded circuitry.
- In partnership with the City of Riverside, UCR established the University Research Park, home to several technology companies, including Qmotions, Ambryx Biotechnology, and Centrum Analytical Laboratories. UCR is also home to 29 research centers and 14 research groups spanning a wide variety of disciplines.
- At the Center for Nanoscale Science and Engineering, UCR scientists explore ways to engineer tissue with polymers to create new supplies of compatible bone, cartilage, organs and limbs.
- UCR's annual Tech Horizons conference provides businesses, agencies, investors and educators with access to cutting-edge research in bioengineering, solar energy, advanced materials and environmental engineering.
