Ways to Give
You earned your degree from UC Riverside. Now you can help someone else do the same
Since its inception in 1976, the UCR Alumni Association Scholarship Program has distributed more than $1.3 million in scholarship support, providing funds for freshmen, continuing students, re-entry students and student-athletes.
Whether it's a direct cash donation or a gift of personal property, real estate, or stock, a gift to the University of California, Riverside provides the university with additional scholarships for students who wouldn't otherwise be able to attend UCR. Each type of gift helps provide for a better future for our students.
Help support your commitment to academic excellence by making a donation to the Alumni Association Scholarship Program.
In honor of the 30 year anniversary of student scholarship support, the Alumni Association has launched a $2 million endowment campaign. The endowment ensures scholarship funding in perpetuity and enables the Alumni Association to continue attracting and retaining the best quality students to UCR.
Making a Difference Through the Monthly Giving Program
The Monthly Giving Program is the easiest and most convenient way to make a difference to UCR students. When you sign up, you tell UCR how much you wish to donate on a monthly basis. Funds are transferred or paid electronically. Your money is put to work faster and results in reduced mail costs for both you and the university.
You maintain total control of your gift, and if you ever wish to alter or cancel it, you can call us at (951) 827-3486 or send us your request in writing.
To sign up for the program, please print, fill out and send in the Monthly Giving Donor form (PDF)
Participate in the Process by Serving on a Regional Scholarship Committee
In 1976, the UCR Alumni Association began a scholarship program that gave $1,000 awards to six incoming freshman students. Since then, they have given awards totaling $1.3 million to over 750 students.
UCR alumni are integral parts of the process as they serve on regional selection committees to interview potential scholarship recipients. The committees generally meet once during the month of February to conduct the interviews. If you are interested in serving on a committee, please contact the UCR Alumni Association.
