Getting Involved
Why Join the UC Riverside Alumni Association
Whether it is reconnecting with old friends, building up your Rolodex or just to better remember some of the greatest years of your life, the UC Riverside Alumni Association is for you. Here are just a few of the reasons to get involved.
The Online Directory
The Online Directory is a great resource for keeping your information current and to stay in touch with your fellow alumni. Some of the uses of the directory include:
- Search the Directory - perform searches for fellow alumni
- My Contacts - bookmark the names and addresses for your friends and contacts. It's a great way to keep up-to-date on what others are doing
- View/Update Your Online Directory Listing - keep all your information current so that your fellow alumni can get in contact with you
The Alumni Career Network and UCR Career Center
The Alumni Career Network is comprised of nearly 1000 alumni willing to share career information with students and other alumni. Network members may be contacted to set up appointments for in-depth informational interviews. Alumni Career Network listings are located in the Career Center Library.
The UCR Career Center provides a comprehensive set of services designed to support your career and job search needs. Members of the Alumni Association receive a 20% discount on all fees. For additional information on services for alumni or to schedule appointments with a career counselor call (951) 827-3631 or visit www.careers.ucr.edu
Volunteer Opportunities
There are many great volunteer opportunities for our alumni. Here are just a few:
- Volunteer for a UCR Alumni Association committee
- Volunteer in the Office of Alumni & Constituent Relations
- Volunteer to deliver UCR admissions materials to your local high school
- Volunteer to be on a UCR alumni panel to talk with students
For more information on volunteer opportunities, contact the Alumni Association.
