Fostering Better Communities
UCR is dedicated to partnering with our neighbors for our mutual benefit. In addition to inviting you to our campus to take part in our arts, cultural events, and learning experiences, we encourage you to participate in making our shared community better.
Good Neighbors
The university strives to enhance the quality of life in our shared interfaces. Our students are encouraged to be good citizens and represent the university positively, following Good Neighbor Guidelines. You may communicate questions and neighborhood incidents to the Dean of Students by the online Good Neighbor Report Form.
City and Campus Policies and Codes
As part of being a good neighbor, the university and nearby communities are governed by policies and codes of conduct that encourage mutual respect. The University Neighborhood Enhancement Team is a cooperative effort between the UCR Police department and the City of Riverside Police department, who work with students living within a 17-square-mile area surrounding the university.
Speakers Bureau
UCR faculty are experts on many and varied topics of interest to community organizations. For help identifying a speaker for your event, please contact Jeff Kraus, Director of Community Relations.
