Experts Available When You Need Them
UCR's Experts on Demand service allows our diverse and talented faculty members to provide the media with unique perspectives and knowledge on a myriad of subjects.
These interactions can be in person, over the phone, or even at light speed via our television studio connected through fiber optics to the AT&T Hollywood hub.

UCR professors and staff can offer incisive commentary on everything from popular culture and current events to local, state and national politics.
Professor Linda Fernandez studies the economic and environmental impacts of energy sources. Environmental protection along international borders is one focus of her research, developing and empirically testing game theory models to solve border water and air pollution problems.
Professor Shaun Bowler can frequently be seen and/or heard discussing national political trends and elections in such media outlets as USA Today, The Boston Globe and National Public Radio.
Reza Aslan, an assistant professor of creative writing, also speaks on politics in Pakistan.
