Staff Profile
Cathy Carlson
Cathy Carlson has worked at UCR for nearly three decades. As the Management Services Officer in the Department of Sociology, Cathy works closely with the department chair, with faculty and with staff and is the primary administrative liaison between the department and the campus community. For the past 10 years, she has coordinated UCR's participation in Riverside's Corporate Games, an Olympic-style competition among the city's most prominent businesses and organizations. She has dined at the White House, traveled throughout the world and worked for a top-secret research facility. She's found a home at UCR. "I feel fortunate to be a part of the UCR family, where each day is an adventure," she said.
