Fees & Financial Aid
UCR establishes an annual budget of projected educational costs and living expenses. Costs vary depending on where you choose to live: at home with your parents, on campus, or in off-campus housing. View the latest budget and get a payment schedule
A wide range of support options put UCR excellence within reach. In fact, 70 percent of all UCR students receive at least one of these forms of financial aid:
- Grants provided by the federal government, the state of California, and UCR are awarded on the basis of financial need.
- Scholarships, awarded on the basis of merit, academic achievement, athletic ability or special talents, come from UCR and outside agencies.
- Loans, provided by the federal government, UCR and private lenders.
- Work opportunities through the Federal Work Study program, coordinated by UCR’s Career Services Office, can be found on campus and in the community.
