Whether you’re looking for a part-time job on campus, an experience-building internship or looking to start your career, UCR’s Career Center is the place to start. You’ll have access to our extensive job database, career counseling, offer resume and interview advice and alert you to upcoming workshops and job fairs.

Get Everything You Need at the UCR Campus Store
The UCR Campus Store is your official store for UCR merchandise and textbooks. It’s the only place where you’ll find the complete booklist for all your classes, as well as the largest selection of UCR apparel, school spirit items and gifts. Check out CompUCR section to shop for electronics, computers, software, and supplies. Stop in or order online!
Campus Safety Escort Service
The Campus Safety Escort Service is run through the Women's Resource Center and provides secure escorts to your car or campus destination. The CSES dispatches from the foyer of
the Tomás Rivera Library and operates Sunday through Thursday, dusk to
midnight. To request an escort, call
(951) 827-3772, or use a CSES telephone located in most campus buildings. After
midnight, the UCR Campus Police will gladly provide an escort. Call (951)
827-5222.
Child Development Center
Our Child Development Center provides a safe, nurturing environment for the children of UCR students, staff and faculty. We have programs for children ages four months to kindergarten age.
Dining Services
UCR Dining Services offers more than great food – we provide a place where you can take a break and gather with friends to socialize, study, and relax. Whether it’s in the dining halls or our retail locations, we pride ourselves in providing a wide variety of high-quality, authentic and healthy dining options daily in a friendly, welcoming environment.

Housing Services
UCR Housing Services is committed to providing our students with safe, convenient, student-oriented housing. We offer three housing styles to meet the needs of all our students. Whether you choose to live in residence halls, campus apartments or family housing, each provides the opportunity to participate in a variety of activities that will enrich your college experience. In addition, our campus police force, which patrols 24 hours a day, and our on-call housing staff are committed to providing a safe and secure environment.
Student Special Services
Student Special Services helps to create an accessible university environment for all students. They promote students' independence, self-advocacy and development. Resources include:

UCR Card
Your UCR Card is your single most important piece of student identification. It’s also the quickest, most convenient way to pay for things on campus and access services.
This multi-purpose ID allows you to:
- Verify your identity on campus and in the community
- Pay for meals
- Borrow books from the library
- Gain access to the Student Recreation Center (SRC)
- Get into UCR home athletic events
- Gain access to some campus buildings
- Used as a debit card, your "Bear Bucks" can be used for purchases and discounts at many on-campus locations
- Use vending machines, laundry services, and copy machines
- Ride the Riverside Transit Agency bus for free
- Use registrar services
